Alex Hussain
Bio
Alex is a Design Engineer at HumanCentric. His experience has combined his traditional engineering skills with usability testing, ergonomic analyses, interaction design, and user scenario development allowing him to work on projects ranging from complex medical devices to cellular phone interfaces. Alex is well versed in design and prototyping tools including computer aided design (Solidworks, Pro/e), finite element analysis, user interface wire frames and flows, rapid prototyping, and user centered design techniques. On project work Alex excels in generating innovative solutions to design problems while balancing technical and manufacturing limitations with user needs and aesthetics.
Before joining HumanCentric Alex worked as a Mechanical Engineering co-op at TDC Medical and Design Continuum while attending Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Alex graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
