Amy Magurno

Human Factors Specialist

Bio

Amy Magurno has a Bachelor's degree in psychology and is ABT (all-but-thesis) for a Master's degree in ergonomics and human factors. She has been working as a human factors and usability professional for eleven years, six of those at HumanCentric. Her work has focused on user interface design of consumer products such as televisions, VCRs, DVD players, cellular phones, and medical devices. This design work has included designing screens, task flows, and developing UI specifications for displays ranging in size from small two-line cell phones to full size CRTs. Ms. Magurno also has experience as a medical laboratory technician, which provides her with a solid understanding of medical environments and technologies.
