Bio
Jonathan Howarth is a Human Factors Specialist at HumanCentric. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a Ph.D. in computer science. Jon has a variety of professional and research interests including computer supported cooperative work and end-user web development, but his primary interests are usability engineering and interaction design. Before joining HumanCentric, Jon developed usability engineering tools to aid in the analysis of data as part of a United States Air Force Office of Scientific Research grant, served as a program manager at Microsoft for a build verification system for Windows, and established collaborative capabilities for a national imagery and mapping association through a National Science Foundation grant.
