Adtran selected HumanCentric to recreate their brand of telecommunication equipment. The product line for Adtran is very broad and has many different form factors (i.e., shapes and sizes). Some are in racks in IT closets and some are on a users desktop. The goal was to refresh and create a brand recognition in the telecommunication industry. Our designers worked with Adtran's marketing and engineering groups to understand the specific niche in which Adtran does business. The challenge was to create a design that would last seven years and would cover a broad range of shapes and sizes. Our design team created sketches and form studies to communicate initial concepts.
Our designers created a new color palette which was used on all of the new designs to create a strong brand. The designs for Adtran apply to products ranging from rack mounted products to telephones. The designers had to consider all of these items when creating the new designs. HumanCentric is actively involved with Adtran on many new programs which follow the visual details created in the early designs.
