HumanCentric worked with Levolor, in order to gain consumer insight into styling for bathroom hardware. Focus groups as well as in-home ethnographic research were conducted in three cities. The HumanCentric team explored the concept of personalization, adjustability, and customizability as a new trend in bathroom hardware. The team reviewed consumers' current needs and habits, recorded their initial response to the new concepts of bathroom hardware, and determined the valuable selling features of future products. The results provided Levolor with crucial insights regarding the bathroom hardware market and answers into how to successfully penetrate and secure market share. This research enabled Amerock to remain in a leadership position by predicting the future needs of their consumers.
